My sessions are all baby and child led, meaning there's no forced posing and plenty of playing, interacting and we encourage all the cuddles, kisses and giggles. I document you in a natural way although fully guide you on what to do, how to look and stand etc.

From booking to delivery of your photos, my priority is ensuring you have the best possible experience. I will send a welcome guide once booked in full of information, tips and encouragement to help you get the most out of your photoshoot experience. When you arrive at my Caversham Heights studio, you will be offered a hot drink, biscuits and I encourage you to relax and be fully present with your children. I'm a mother myself and understand how it feels being pregnant, having just had a baby or running around after a toddler. Life can be pretty chaotic but this is a chance to press pause, you deserve it.
what to expect when you book with Me
You've embarked on the most incredible journey of your life, and we often forget that the start of growing and birthing your baby is also the start of your motherhood journey. We often put so much focus on our little ones that it's easy to forget just how much of an incredible job you and your body are doing.
Maternity photoshoots are a beautiful and rare chance to press pause, preserve and celebrate you and your body. Recommended to take place at around 7-8 months pregnant. I offer a maternity wardrobe, you can bring your own clothes and together we can create a set of beautiful photos for you to cherish forever. Your partner and children are welcome to get involved too.

After nine months of growing the newest love of your life, they're finally here and you want to soak up all those amazing first moments. Their peach fuzz baby hair, tiny little details and sleepy scrunch. They're not little for long but with newborn photos, you will be taken back to those incredible first days with your photos, every time.
Typically booked around 10 days after your due date but fully flexible to move depending on when they arrive.

Life is for celebrating and I'm truly passionate in believing that now is always the best time to have a photoshoot. Popular milestones with families are babies when they're finally sitting up, giggling away and developing into their little personality. Birthdays - whether thats a first birthday, your birthday or simply jut a family milestone to celebrate.
Indoors or outdoors, any season, just your immediate family or extended too, together we will create wall worthy images to keep the album up to date.

Mini sessions are perfect for families looking for a short and sweet photoshoot with less photos included. Great for annual photoshoots to keep the family album updated. If you are happy to just have one outfit look and one set up, this is a good option.
Not suitable for newborn age but great for energetic toddlers.

6. When will the full balance be due?
A £100 deposit will be taken at the time of booking to secure your appointment, the remaining balance will be due on the day of the session. You are welcome to pay in cash or bank transfer.
7. How long do sessions last?
We book up to two hour slots for newborns and up to one hour slots for all other shoots. All sessions are taken at your little ones own pace and we like to keep things relaxed for them.
8. Can I have photos with my children too?
We always encourage parent and sibling photos too.
9. Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately the studio cannot accomodate animals.
1. When should I book my maternity session?
Maternity photoshoots are best to be taken place at around 7 months, this will ensure you aren't too uncomfortable but are likely to be visibly showing.
2. What age do you photograph newborns?
Please book your newborn session for around 7-10 days after your due date, these sessions are flexible so if they do need to be moved we can bring it forward or postpone to a later date. They will ideally take place before your baby is two weeks old.
3. Can my other children be a part of my newborn session?
You are welcome to bring your other children to the session to be featured in a couple of photos with the baby. There is a cricket green opposite the studio and it may be a good idea for your partner or another adult to take the children after their photos so we can focus just on baby.
4. How do I book a session with you?
Please fill out our enquiry form and we will send you our availability and booking information. Once a deposit of £50 has been taken, your photoshoot will be secured.
5. How much is it to upgrade and buy more images?
Additional images are charged at £15 per image and this comes digitally in both colour/black and white and with a matching 6x4 print. I offer collections of either single images, or the entire gallery for £249.
